Is it Prince Charles' Birthday Today?

Why would I imagine that I remember Prince Charles' birthday? I have no idea. I just have a conviction that today is the day. How inconsequential can I get? I also remember my sister's best friend's birthday. May 18th. But I don't remember my grand-children's birthdays, and sometimes my own birthday goes by unnoticed and once I even forgot Christmas Day as I was camping out alone.

I am traveling along the Pacific coast and I have watched a lot of waves. There is something soothing about watching waves destroy themselves on rocks and sand, and they make such beautiful designs! A few days ago I was on a pier photographing the lovely designs in the breaking waves beneath, when one of those beautiful inconsequential waves knocked a man off a breakwater and killed him. Sorry, no picture. I was too busy getting pictures of the lovely, lacy foam.
