Why Drug Deals Go Bad

Basic math is important boys and girls!

Being without internet service is not bad. Once a week I look at my email and delete a few ads.

I miss Wikipedia because I can't find out the etymology of words like 'tawdry'. My daughter looked it up and found that it originated from the cheap lace sold at St Audrey's fair in England a couple of hundred years ago. This is not inconsequential to me. But a good dictionary in book form would fix that.

True, I have these blogs but they are definitely deadfalls in the forest. I see I got a comment from someone with little English and a request for me to read his or her Google ads. Sure.

I've been listening to the Great One and his solutions to the economic crisis. I listened to Robert Reich too. I wonder if it occurs to either of them that when the underpinnings are rotten all the talk about GrowthSpendingCredit is pathetic? How much longer can we eat the Earth and expect to GrowSpendBorrow?

I started a new blog called a Buddhist's Diary. I am going to attempt to keep it up every day, but this will mean transcribing weeks at a time when I am hiding in the woods and nowhere near a Wi-Fi. I think it tends to the sanctimonious rot, so please add deflating comments if you feel like it.
I am drowning in inconsequentiality. Is anything consequential? Yes of course. Lots of things must be. I just can't think of anything at the moment. Probably because I have been thinking Buddhist too much.

Here is a nice chunk of geology. It may not be of consequence but it certainly has Presence.
