The Dark Presence

I didn't take my favorite camera to Hawaii. I used a cheap disposable and a nasty little point and shoot. You had to press a button to rewind the film which I forgot to do so I got a whole lot of leaked light on the pictures. The solution was to turn most of the pictures to b & w, darken them and up the contrast. Dark Hawaii, which is OK as my coming home present was more cancer. The good thing is I get the surgery tomorrow. It rained today! It was coolish! I went to see 'The Devil Wore Prada' after the Dr appt and I actually had to go to a discount store in the mall to buy a long sleeve tee shirt to wear in the movie! Could have used an umbrella too as the theatre roof wasn't just leaking, it was cascading. The middle of the Superman auditoreum was a veritable Las Vegas water display and may have enhanced the movie experience for the audience. The Old Buddhist was in there so we went to check on him. No I wasn't trying to see it for free. I quite enjoyed Prada, but it was annoyingly Hollywood. Somebody could have made a much more interesting movie. Should have gone to the Nacho one, but the woman in the discount place said it was awful. Our 5-plex does not cater to sophisticated tastes. We did notice that many people were enjoying the dinner theatre experience by bringing burritos, fried pies and french fries not to mention Pepsis into the theatre with them. Hey I found a black raw silk skirt with Really Deep Pockets for 5.99 when I was getting the tee shirt! It has the feel of a long time companion.
Hawaii is heaven. Bring your sp45. I went in an outrigger with three good looking Hawaiian men. I loved it. I want to live in Kona and join an outrigger club and develop my upper body strength and indelible tan. I could live on the beach and eat bananas off the trees.......
