I haven't been taking photos lately. Sorry. This is an old one. I haven't been back to Coyote Creek since I was scared off by the coyote trapper.
Yesterday while worshiping my garden I happened upon a fully formed six inch long zucchini squash. I ate it immediately and it was wonderfully delicious. I had no idea it was lurking in its leafy refuge. The weather has been humid and not as hot as it could be. We have been getting little tads of rain.
I am now hard at work on Spanish 111. It is a huge amount of information, and I find my meager memories of Latin help a little. Nauta amat puellam? The woman who sits next to me is lovely, but she does that old colored gospel thing of responding to everything the teacher says. Yay! She says. Really? She coos. Aah! She comments. After much careful observation I have decided that Senor Gonzales Gonzales dyes not just his hair but also his mustache and eyebrows. He is elegantly turned out and has an understated sense of humor. I think he's a good teacher. All the other students are taking Spanish as a requirement for Police Science, Nursing or Special Ed. The are pretty sharp.
